It's foolish to tie artwork quality with music quality.

In retrospect, the 4.5 mighta been a little much, but definitely would still go with a 4. Meh

Can someone explain the appeal of O'God to me? I really dig the groovyness of bless the martyr and how it got slow and atmospheric and I also really like redeemer but O'God just sounds like generic dissonant-core.

@kozdude - mathcore is the shit and Botch is the shit, thus O God is "the shit".

everything abotu o god is so perfect imo, the atmosphere, the weird production, how all the songs flow together and how every single song stands out on it's own.

O' God, technically is "generic dissonant -core". It's just that, for a lot of people, it was one of their first "generic dissonant -core" albums, so it carries that nostalgic value. Idk though. Maybe there are far better reasons behind some peoples love for it. Norma Jean was one of the inital bands on that metalcore wave, a few years back.

I havent heard anything since The Anti-Mother, which left me gravely upset. But seeing a rating like this; im going to b giving this a listen asap.

@Veldin I love botch.
@Cygnatti I guess I meant I didn't find the riffage very interesting

I haven't listened to the whole O' God in years, all those positive comments about it made me really curious to see if it's really as bad as I remember.
