Anyone else hear Sword in Mouth and thought it sounded like Refused's Worms of the Senses

My favourite Norma Jean so far although I'm new to the band and haven't jammed Bless the Martyr yet.

Digging: Sharon Van Etten - Are We There

I like Scogin's voice a lot from the Chariot so I'm definitely intrigued.

Very similar stuff to The Chariot. I like it more though. Warning production is pretty bad unfortunately.

Ah that's a shame but yeah I'll definitely give it a shot. Tbh I don't really like O' God much but everything else I've heard from these guys is good to fantastic so yeah

My personal favorites off that album are Memphis Will Be Laid to Waste and Face:Face.

Bless the Martyr and Everything is Alive are pretty much the same album to me and neither one is that great

Oh well I don't like Everything Is Alive too much so if they're the same then I won't really like it. Memphis is better than all the songs off Everything is Alive though.

Bless the Martyr is the better of the two but they are both very stylistically similar. Either way, both bands got fuck tons better. Mo'fucking Cha Cha

"Mo'fucking Cha Cha"
Agreed
Yeah they both improved shitloads, Long Live is such a fucking jam and as I said before this is my current fave Norma Jean

This is definitely making it's way to being my favorite Norma record. Only time will tell but this is probably my second favorite album of the year so far

Damn, what's first? And yeah almost every song on this is just so good, Neck in the Hemp is the only one I don't care for

QOTSA's Like Clockwork is holding down the number one spot pretty hard

Ah yeah that's close for me but I'm going for AM by Arctic Monkeys or The Greatest Generation so far. I really need to jam more NJ outside of this album though which one would you recommend?

I'm very partial to Redeemer and if you're really digging this then I'd say that's the way to go. Check out Meridional as well, but stay the fuck away from Anti-Mother. So bad
