Yea. Unfortunately this has been my least fav avatar season yet but I think it'll end on a sky high note.

Nah, this is the best season along with 3 for me

3 > 4 > 1 > 2

in my opinion.

Really? Damn this season has been a huge letdown for me up until now. It started off very strong in the first two episodes but it wasn't that good in the middle. These past two episodes were awesome though.

3>1>2>4

I just enjoyed the season for the most part. Korra's struggle was so drawn out that I feel like we're actually going to be impressed when she takes down Kuvira.

Plus her episode with Zaheer was awesome.

@ Mongi I agree, I think this is the weakest season, but finales can make or break a season. I just feel like the plot hasn't really gone anywhere, versus Seasons 1, 2, 3 which all had a lot of tension by the midpoint. That said, I think season's gonna be a lot better when watched in one or two sittings (similar to Season 2 in that regard, actually).

3>2>1>4 tbh but to be fair without finales it's probably 1>3>>>2>4 so 4 still has a chance to be better

and so it ends. wonderful stuff.

(KINDA SPOILERS) i dunno kind of hard to process that ending with just those two characters hanging out to close the series, making one huge implication in several different ways (parallel to A:TLA's ending; the general relationship between the two characters; fandom chatter) without giving us a definite answer. then again that was close enough to a definite answer so i'll just accept that that just happened and i am so happy with this show.

Damn, that was an amazing ending! And yeah Dimsim, I was wondering about those two characters as well. It seems like something more might have been suggested between the two of them but it's hard to tell

Oh please. Bryke gave that ship full approval with the final scene. I'm calling it 100% canon.

Fantastic end.

Yeah, I thought about it more and it seems to be the real deal. Props to the creators for making such a progressive gesture for a family show!

DAMNIT! Korra and Osami should've kissed at the end.

Best season finale on Korra imo

The fact that they had feelings toward eachother has been apparent since the beginning of season 4. It's too bad they couldn't risk taking it one step further.

Also Hiroshi Sato was the only death in the final episode, weird. For a second I thought they were going to kill Mako.

I actually disliked the ending. I don't buy Korra and Asami as a romantic pairing at all. It'd be like construing Bolin hugging Asami in Season 3 as evidence of Bosami. I really didn't see anything before the final scene that suggested Korra and Asami were non-platonic (except maybe the blush on the hair compliment), and to me it felt like total fanservice given how loud/ obnoxious Korrasami shippers were. I actually would have preferred Makorra, and that ship is the reason I can't stand the first half of Season 2.

Beyond that, it was a solid ending. I liked what they did with Korra and Kuvira but it'd have worked better if Kuvira were shown to be somewhat sympathetic in the first place (e.g. shit like the fucking re-education camps was so unnecessary; at the worst, they should've let her do manipulative things like get bandits to raid towns like in Episode 2 at the worst). I guess my problem with the finale wasn't the finale itself, which did pretty much a great job at everything barring Korrasami fanservice (which might just be a matter of opinion), but rather the season had such a weak buildup that the climax and resolution weren't as exciting and satisfying (respectively) as they could've been.

That part with Mako was so great though.

Also the music was so fucking on point, especially in Episode 12

I disliked that they kept Mako alive though. They was kinda cheap to keep him alive because that was quite a fucking blow he took. Nonetheless, that was an amazing ending. Not gonna lie, that ending was very emotional and last couple images of the show were really powerful. Gonna miss this show.

Also yea I don't buy that they both would hook up. It just doesn't add up. I think Korra took her hands because Asami couldn't get into the spirit world on her own.
