Review Summary: If you like punk, get this album! If you don't like punk, still get this album!

What is it about The Story So Far that sounds so familiar? Is it their rough catchy vocals? Their charming melodies? Their crisp poppy drums? Perhaps all of the above.

What You Don't See had a lot to live up to after the band's debut album Under Soil and Dirt. A memorable and unique record that had resonance from all great pop punk. This new record is better than their debut, due to the fact that they have perfected what was done previously.

From start to finish, no one could have done it better. Their lyrics, catchier. Their riffs, better, their musicianship, flawless. The combination of everything here is absolutely perfect. Each song with its own unique structure and beautiful melody behind it comes out so rich because the vocals portray his meaning with solid forceful yet soft singing. There is a perfect incorporation of D Beats in all tracks, and fast paced strumming. I can easily recommend this to any Rise Against or Such Gold fans.

Empty Space and The Glass are the best tracks, but not by far. They shine because their verses and chorus's are remarkably awesome and so heartfelt. Remember those records that you can just drift off into? I do and I know you do. Well, this is that type of record. The whole album, track by track. Transitioning smoothly through each track. Don't just listen to a single track. Listen to the album as a whole and you'll get an experience unlike anything.

Really the only thing I can bicker about would be the production. While being very well mixed, the editing (or engineering) is a little too much; though this does not detract from anything.

I will not hesitate to say this could be the best pop punk record of all time. If you're interested in punk music at all, you need to get this album!
