yeah it's tough to write about records that aren't interesting to you. anything lesser than a 3.5 is tough for me unless it's a supposedly big release and doesn't quite do it for me.

ha, yea i've done a lot of proofing on my gf's thesis work. always interesting to see other parts of academia i haven't encountered. right now i'm reading up on electricity and magnetism, trying to get into alternative energy

well deltron 3030 was the first rap album I ever listened to on purpose, the 2nd one being beastie boys' licensed to ill. before that, I've heard plenty of rap on the radio and whatnot, but I didn't like most of it.

I used to hate rap simply because of what I heard on the radio. Once I actually dug deeper into hip-hop is when I began to appreciate it a lot more.





With that said, I think the first rap album I listened to from beginning to end was The Marshall Mathers LP
