Chino's voice doesn't seem to fit at times. Future Warrior is amazing, though it drops a bit when Chino starts singing. I really like Chino too, so it's rather disappointing.
Definitely spacey, I really think they could have done half spacey like this is and then chartered into the Isis sound territory and done a few heavier tracks to really add to the overall feel and sound of the album, not to mention mixing it up.
I enjoy Isis too, I just feel that everyone wasn't at their best here. Almost like it was rushed. Still a solid album, I guess I had super high hopes though.

I am a huge fan of deftones, and quite like Isis. The music is spot on and cannot fault it, however I feel that chino's vocals on this album are very poor and quite flat. At brief times his vocals are good and it works well. I thought it might just me but his performance is nowhere near the standard set on deftones, crosses or team sleep.
The vocals overall detract from the whole experience won't be listening again.

Yeah, I found that strange as well.
Chino is my favorite vocalist. He always gives an exceptional performance, but this has to be the
exception. I don't feel any chemistry between the band and Chino. It's glaringly obvious that the
vocals were later overdubbed over the music.
All my opinion of course!
