The hype for Silent Planet's latest made me go back and listen to this, which is probably my favorite metalcore record of all time, to try and figure out why I like it so much more than so many other metalcore albums. Possible reasons:
-production is fantastic
-lack of verse/chorus structure but enough melody to keep it all from being a homogenous mess
-Jake Luhrs is a pretty underrated vocalist
-Matt Greiner is a ridiculous drummer who singlehandedly makes songs interesting
