The second track (don't have the album with me), that's probably my favourite.

They're all amazing though.

Hrafntinna

For me it's Isjaki, then Brennistein and then Kveikur

I swear one day I'll learn all the names on a Sigur Ros album lol

The title track sludges hard, that bass line with the slide is so sick

Everything in Drop A sounds sludgy as fuck. I seriously think it's just something about A Minor/harmonic minor in general.

I used drop B a few years ago, but then I got a seven-string.

Drop A with a seven-string is so painless.

It's funny you said that.

Jonsi's voice is too nice to be creeped out. However one of the b-sides on Brennistein EP is terrifying. I think it's called Hryyygggsula?

Creeped out isn't entirely accurate. Maybe, vulnerable instead.

Damn, I'll check that out.

I assume the first track was pretty surprising when this came out. It's pretty chilling.

I find ( ) really unsettling, and totally when listening to it at night. I really can't anymore.

You find ( ) unsettling as a whole? Maybe the second half of 8 but most of it is some of the most beautiful music I've heard and my favorite album. People's interpretations of it are always so different.
