I'd 3.2 it. It's good, really, the production is superb.

I'm not disappointed at all. BoC has never been my favourite. And I actually enjoy this. I simply don't feel it special, but it's a good listen nonetheless

makes sense, tree hasn't heard any of their stuff so that could have something to do with his rating. i guess i'm just more lenient with ratings than i thought.

Really great write up, mancuso. Never heard of them, but it definitely sounds interesting from your review.

Yeah I didn't really have any expectations of my own going into this other than "hey they're supposedly amazing this must be amazing" and it didn't really do anything for me. So I guess you could say I got disappointed. I wouldn't say it's bad though, just doesn't appeal to me at all (yet?).
I'll eventually catch up on their discography though and give it another listen after that.

I was like that. I only got into The Campfire Headphase and Music has the right to children like a year ago.

When did you first listen to them?

"When did you first listen to them?"
I listened to Geogaddi wayyyyyy back in 2004/5 ish. I heard BoC's music on Salad Fingers and managed
to locate the album the soundtrack was from.
I stayed on Geo for a few years since I wasn't massively into them at the time. As far as their other
albums, like I said, probably beginning of 2012 when I dug into their discography. Took awhile before
everything sunk in
