it's arguably their best album, probably tied with Songs for the Deaf in my opinion. it is more of a "raw sound" and features original bassist Nick Oliveri who sings on a few tracks as well as guest vocalist Mark Lanegan. also the drums are not as complex as the later QOTSA albums.
