BGWTB is certainly better and this is denser and more repetitive but still great imo

Just listened to this and it's aight. Has the same problem as the s/t, drags way too long but there are
incredible tracks here.

I get pretty emotional listening to this album, especially from Lab Monkey onwards.
Not many albums can do that to me

Your use of italics confuses and scares me.

AiC brings that grimy, dark sound every time. Sludgy guitar, EVIL bass, and haunting harmonies. These two new albums have been fucking great. The old stuff holds a special place in my heart, but I'm definitely excited to hear new stuff. I hope they keep making albums.

Wouldn't it be cool if they made Jar of Flies/Sap type album now? These heavy riffs are badass but it seems like Jerry hasn't really tapped into the bluesy, grassroots/dark acoustic part of his musical identity with any of the new music. I'd like to hear that.

"Choke" is stunning. Probably the best song on the album, with "Phantom Limb" coming close

I was so pleasantly surprised by this when it was released. The quality hasn't diminished over time, either.
