there's one good radio station where I live but they're only good because they play classic stuff like pink floyd and the beatles. every other station pisses me off lol

I'm not going to lie Mr. King Jake, there was some criticism I took in from that, but there was some sections that are painstakingly obvious to comprehend but were picked apart simply because people were looking to niggle. It's not often that I'd actually review in this style so of course, the feedback would be helpful. But when people 'helping' start with insults and change the context of my writing to suit a critique in a comment section - What I'm trying to say it's not only the wrong way of going about it, it's also missing the mark.
You know me man, I've had you tear apart my reviews with a rusty chainsaw to improve, but you did it properly and that my friend makes all the difference.

Trust me, I do know where you're coming from. There are people that will dissect your reviews thoroughly- either wanting to help, or wanting to make you look silly. But ultimately, if you think about it, all of the criticism helps you in a way-- just some of it is more analytical than it really needs to be.
Not sure what my point was, so I'll just say this! There's much to take from the types of comments FireAbove left for you, even if he did leave it in a douchey manner. If you're aiming for the higher echelons of Sputnik, those comments are honestly the ones that will help you out the most. Otherwise, you'll be getting them more and more over time.
Just make it obvious that you're willing to listen to feedback, and I think people will take it a bit easier on you.

You know i had to restart reading that comment about six times, damn that avatar!
I'm definitely working on growing through my writing. I mean, I have 170+ reviews now, which is why I'm trying out these new styles so I can develop into a unique AND interesting read. It's for a couple of reasons, the first is so my reviews don't sound copy/pasted. The second, well, I'm going to get me a staff position Sputnikmusic.com/ It will be work, and probably harder journalistic work than what I'm used to but it's also why I've been trying my hand at interviews recently. (By-the-way you should give me pointers on them).
If putting up with the taunting critique is what it takes then I guess i should develop a tolerance for it. thanks my man.

atari and ipod: look, i know people are prone to saying the radio is shit when really they mean 'fuck top40!' but there are some great stations. i mean in smaller cities you might be sol and get a handful of god-awful stations, but you're talking to an audience that could be from anywhere. idk, in the context of your review it just reads like a pointless and self-righteous tangent to assert how unconventional this is (which makes it inherently cool/sophisticated?). fruitless
no offence implied or anything, i just think you can do way better and you're above attacking people for listening to the radio

our town had a fantastic alt station until last summer when it went bankrupt, and now they just play shitty pop house. which is an improvement over normal pop but still not good
