The only thing that gave this album replay value to me was the King Krule track "You Took Your Time", I hope they can make more stuff like that track.

I do admire what that they tried to do with this album. Some of the songs are a bit hit and miss, but it's a good listen.

was going to write it up, but busy with other reviews and human life.. new album is pretty damn fantastic, and the blue train lines is their best krule collab so far....

i almost hate everything it stands for but at the same time cannot help but love it
but i have to disagree about blue train lines, my least favourite king krule collab. especially live when they play it instrumental zzzzzzz

haven't heard the live version, but the instrumental getting thicker as the song goes on worked for me perfectly.. you took your time is amazing, but I usually skip it after a minute.. no modulation..

its weird i honestly didnt like blue train lines, marilyn, or we go home together the first few listens but they grew on me a tonne. same with TAMED and how we got by and they turned out to be my favorite songs. but yeah, they dont have the 'live band' dynamic locked down yet... when they went full electronic it was dope and a few of the full band songs worked but a lot of it felt empty without the vocal features and some of it got wayyy too post rocky.

really been enjoying it too, blue train lines is great but it seems like odd placement for it to come up so quickly as just the second track (?) maybe it's just me
interesting about their live show though... i should be catching them at a fest later this year, seems like the aesthetic on the instrumental songs really lend themselves to a live setting at least
