Loved Era Vulgaris as well. Don't really get the hate for that one.

You going to see them in June, Ty?

Great work once again greg. I gave this a first listen today, initial impression is a 3.5 but every QOTSA album has been a grower for me to a certain extent; I'm sure this one will be no different.

if you've never listened to Queens, you are in a cool position to try something out...

Start with their first record, and listen through their career in chronological order. Do it. Be a
badass. you know you wanna.

ps: I liked the more hyperbolic review summary better.

@Nagrarok:
Yeah. This is definitely a grower. I'm sure you'll gdig it more in time.

@Alex:
I don't know man. It seemed a tad too hyperbolic to me. And yeah, chronological order is the way to go.

yeah, I guess if this record is infinitely seductive, that doesn't leave room for their sexier records...

Era Vulgaris, uninspired? Disagree entirely. Era Vulgaris was fucking great. So goddamn noisy.
