They weren't fantastic at all. But they had some enjoyable tunes depsite of the pretentiouness of Leto, this one is just a pointless mess with nothing special too offer

Yes, this is a terrible album. Such a shame because I actually enjoyed some of This Is War. 42 year old Leto obviously had
a massive ego boost after A Beautiful Lie (probably thanks to fangirls swooning over him at concerts) and the band has
suffered greatly for it. He's not Bono, he doesn't need to have chant vocals plastered throughout every track. Not to
mention the fake, overly dramatic singing and lyrics that are absolutely cringe worth at times.
Oh and don't ever "Like" this band on Facebook. My feed is constantly overloaded with awful pictures of Leto posing with
serious faces, looking like a pretentious tool. Jared, your shit does stink. Just saying.

Good review Rowan. I have to admit I hated the singles at first, but they're slowly growing on me. I'll have to see how the album sounds when it's released, but it seems they're sticking to their self-indulged, pretentious, fan-chanting sound. A shame really.
