This is a perfect album to fall asleep to in the best way though. Coldplay being loud doesn't exactly result in their best material anyways.

Have Coldplay ever really been loud though?

Politik I guess

Funny that was actually the first song that came to mind for me when thinking of a loud Coldplay song. (Amazing song, that.)
Maybe Violet Hill too but that's about it.

Viva La Vida came to my head first. It isn't loud in a way with heavy riffs and all that.

I was thinking more along the lines of A Sky Full of Stars

That too iirc

I wouldn't describe that as "loud" though.

The production makes it louder that it actually is.

Don't Panic is their best opener :D

That or Politik but it's not exactly a competitive race

Na it beats Politik me thinks

Yeah Don't Panic is probably one of their best songs overall. This album is just incredible either way.

Don't Panic/Trouble is the only stuff from here I remember clearly and like. I don't ever remember being a fan of Yellow honestly. But those two songs are some of their best. Than again the entirety of Viva La Vida is basically a best of album.
