I thought Option Paralysis was pure trash, it’s the only Dillinger album I don’t listen to.

"I thought Option Paralysis was pure trash"

This is problematic.

"it’s the only Dillinger album I don’t listen to."

DING DING. You just semi-solved your own problem.

Listen to it and revel in the greatness that is Option Paralysis.

Yeah this is pretty easily their worst imo, but I still think it has the best openers of any album. Including Miss Machine.

And forreal option paralysis is the tits, probably my favorite behind dissociation

Pretty sure it was Pleb that single-handedly rallied Sput behind Option Paralysis and it's been on a positive trend ever since

Yeah, Paralysis has always been a fave (and for good reason, best Dillinger imo)

yeah I feel that way too flug, the bottom four are pretty consistently fluctuating but I feel like Dissociation and Option Paralysis are going to stay where they are.

Honestly though, I love every record by these guys. Everything they made is just so uncompromising.

And it is weird as fuck this is the record that’s highest rated on rym. It’s easily their most accessible and as far as I can tell rym is even more elitist than this site so that’s surprising to say the least.

it has the most varied and accessible songwriting and its longevity is incredible.

I'm very surprised too, can see this being the most popular Dillinger, maybe on par with Miss Machine (which had been around longer to reach more sets of ears), but any metric that doesn't score Calculating Infinity or Option Paralysis as their best throws me

It was Ire Works man but yeah, my life peaked when I saw people giving it another shot.
