in part because it was all ages. a lot of goofy teenagers there to get a quick vid of their tik tock songs. the band sorta knew it, so they played those songs purposely bad. which is imo even cornier than the handful of boys with bleach tipped hair

the sound guy was having a hard time getting the correct vocal effect for the guitarist who looks like rob zombie, but instead of being cool about it he got bitchy and hit the sound dude w a “the crowd is here to see us not u,” and the crowd proceeded to boo the sound guy who was just doing his job

set was cut 30 minutes short



just overall shit tbh. i was whatever about the corny new age kids and the sloppy songs, but don’t dig into the staff - esp when ur in ur 40s playing a bunch of songs for a crowd full of fucking teenagers

Saw them live over the summer and can confirm the crowd was one of the worst I've been to. Bunch of zoomers trying to mosh to them.

I also wasn't particularly impressed with them live. Zero stage presence or fluidity of the set. Constantly just tuning instruments and stuff. Made the space between the songs feel like forever
