the thing with album art to me is it gives you an image to put in your head while you listen. it sets the mood. its always in the back of my mind either consciously or subconsciously and its just part of the whole package. art shouldnt affect the music but on some small level it can very slightly add or detract to the experience for me. because its all art in the end.
