the first legendary musician i got up the nerve to talk to was black flag/descendents drummer and world class producer bill stevenson. he was just chilling at the bar and i geeked out and told him how much his work meant to me blablabla. he was so fucking nice and unassuming.

i met patrick stickles once. he was as weird and awkward as you would expect but also very nice.

haaaaaaaaaaaa stickles would be a blast
i met jeff once and then saw the bomb doco and it was kinda like how some of the meetings in that movie went down. seems like he just does his best to hold conversation with these random people coming up to him (incl. me) and then gives you a nice farewell like an exchange of names and handshake or hug to make the experience meaningful. just dont be toooo weird or break his arm or whatever like that one fan did.
srsly tho was nobody else wondering about that saddest landscape / wonder years thing? that was a huuuuge deal for me and it's bugged me for fucking years

i didn't know she was on a saddest landscape track but ya i thought about asking her about that wonder years song when i saw her because i looooove that song.

i knew she sang w/ the saddest landscape but not the wonder years. kinda makes me want to check out the greatest generation. suburbia was a good album.
also i'd do some dark shit to get a laura/jeff acoustic/piano duo album.

the greatest generation is a really really fucking great album, i'd recommend it.
also i really want a solo acoustic laura album just because
