Tbh, I'm not a huge fan of writing a review whose main crux is to address another review(s). It's more a personal thing & I don't think it brings the review down, but I'm not a fan.
Plus, the "grown-up" debate is all relative. If we're talking about this band previously, then it's difficult to argue against... Even if we just take 1 track in 'Lost & Found'. I doubt Santino could have written that 3 years ago.
BTW, I hope you don't think I'm targeting you of late. Mere coincidence that I rated 2 albums you reviewed in the space of a week. I'm not about to listen to 'Yeezus' any time soon!

Haha no worries. I honestly think that some of the best pieces I've read are in reference to another review - for example, Downer's piece on Iceage was brilliant and one of the best reviews I've read on site. I understand it's not for everyone, though, and I've only done it three or four times (out of 53 or 54) so it's not like I always do that stuff.
And I see what you mean about "grown-up" being relative, but I just see this album as On Your Side with a country-pop twang. I do think the previous outing was better, though - I don't think any song on here comes close to "Like We Used To" which is one of my favorite pop-rock songs of the past few years.
