Can someone please list all the tracks that don't sound boring or formulaic and are maybe vaguely surprising (I've heard Whisper and An Escape, both of which disappointed)?

You'd be doing the world a favour, Johnny.

The Color Spectrum was really great, but I definitely think Act II is better. He's such an incredible writer. It's amazing all of their music is (almost) solely written by Casey, and it's much fuller than what most bands can produce with multiple people. All of the elements that mesh together to create any album of The Dear Hunter's is just mind-blowing.

I believe it. Sounds good, like maybe a 3.5. But all their other stuff has been 4+ material.

Acts I and II are basically 5s. Act III and TCS were just below that I think.
I just don't really think I like the direction Casey is going with all these soft rock tunes.
