Great album. Dunno about the amount of 4.5's - it's lacking a bit of an edge for me.

Yeah, but that's the case with all his albums. But you really can't deny the craftmanship that went into this. And every song is crazy good, so yeah. :]

@ scissor: Tried Dial M for Monkey yet? That's still his best in my book.

Thanks fellas!

yeap, I tried it

his first three records are really good, but I haven't dug them enough

his works are perfectly produced and the instrumentations are great, however I always perceived his pieces as background music like something that could play while chilling in a lounge bar or something! I really can't hold any melodies or basslines and stuff but the general taste is always sweet!

While hearing the links in the first comment I must say that although that was true for his first albums (in my case, that's only Dial M for Monkey) this is not the case for the recent stuff. Black Sands was already more direct and it appears this is even more.

"Yeah Ty, you really can't go wrong with any of his stuff, but you'll surely like this one. :]"

It looks like it

Need to get all of his work, it's cool that he can DJ as well (Boiler Room vid was badass).

Man, his albums are perfect headphone music. You really need to discover all the subtleties in his tracks. But agreed it makes for good background music as well.

His Boiler room set was amazing!

agreed, while it seems like it would make great bgm, it's so much better listening with headphones. when I was listening on my speakers while studying, it just didn't hit me as hard (it absolutely floored me the first few times on headphones)

What I heard from this album actually isn't really suited as background imo, whereas his older stuff is (although it also has subtleties)
