"i think mountain goats are the coolest animals because they can climb nearly vertical surfaces and
then in their arrogance, they will start to jump ravines that they can't actually make"

"so you named your band after an animal that has suicidal pride"

the artist here sometimes thinks that he would come out successful with a R&B album but then ends up making a pop album
well this album is surely 20/20 with a good buzz of pop elements
his music is basic shit
but good shit
....
eventually

Haha, Even as much overhype as this album has, the r & B element and kinda throwback to some of the 50's even a bit makes it pretty awesome IMO

90% of the people are way too biased about Pop music to actually understand what this album does and why it's so good.

That's why more than 90% gave this high scores on this site?

I want to disagree but I can't find any arguments. Staff reviews definitely influence people though.

I don't really care if it's revolutionary or not and neither do I care about what other people say about it. The album has amazing song structures and succeeds in everything it's trying to do. I'm not a big Pop expert but I haven't heard an album of the gerne as good as this. I enjoy it a lot and I'm sure many more would if they gave it a chance.

typical verse/chorus sturcture stretched out over 5 minutes + extended outro is not that amazing imo. different from most pop yes...but by much? nah

"Best lyrics on a pop album ever? I mean Prince is so fake and try-hard it hurts, and Michael Jackson is basically a fag so yea"

"Funny because R&B is actually a limited subgenre of Pop."

Base is on a role today.
