I haven't heard much of their stuff, "Enola Gay" is probably my favorite from what I've heard though.

"poppier/poopier post-punk"
part of why new wave is so awesome.
dark wave is really cool too, find a bunch of them and neo-folk bands when I'm looking for modern post
punk. I don't know anything about no wave though.

I've only listened to Low-Life and it was awesome. It was one of the first post-punk/new wave albums I looked and listened for. How does this one compare?
And of course Gia don't like Duran Duran and The Police. Of course. :3

Power, Corruption and Lies is a must. Technique is my favorite new order album but it certainly isn't their most popular
|
| |
I'm exploring Technique right now and I have to say: it is slowly but surely becoming my favorite New Order album too... outside of Substance of course :P
But I agree, PC&L is sooooo good!

yeah technique is really underrated. i guess some people find its more synth-pop type sound off-putting but i think it easily has some of their best songs, and every single song on it is memorable, distinct, and catchy

I love this new wave group of users we're building today. I'm glad I wrote this review.

Yes! I liked Brotherhood very much (Bizarre Love Triangle is in there after all!), but what I really
loved about Technique is in a lot of its songs they found that perfect touch of dance-rock (Fine Time,
Round & Round, Mr. Disco, Vanishing Point) they had experimented with on PC&L.
And for an electronic dance music fan like me, well... hehehe.

I just dont think alot of new wave has aged well, but thats the way I feel about most 80s synth/electronic heavy stuff. It does have a charm to it though.
Post-Punk has the catchiness of new wave without the cheese and cheap electronics. Its darker and a little more experimental. Either way both post-punk and new wave outside of a small handful of bands is criminally overlooked on this site.
But yea fox do that list up I'll def check a couple out.

Album is also mandatory because it has True Faith. Easily another all time favourite of mine.
