Oh, go to sleep little children, the sandman's on his way
Go to sleep little children, the sandman's in his way
But the little children know, but the little children know
They listen to the beating of their blood
Listen to the beating of their blood
Listen to the beating of their blood
LISTEN TO THE BEATING OF THEIR BLOOD

"The first album was awful to listen to. I'm not sure why it gets rated reasonably on here. But Universes is exactly what this band needed to become. The rest is now just gravy"
It's believed to be one of their best by most of their fans. It's their worst album but I wouldn't call it awful, just ok. Universes is basically Day One but with much better songwriting and a better vocal performance. Even a fan favourite like Wayside i'm not a massive fan of.
Universes and the Self titled are tied for me as their best album with March Fires not too far behind.

And i'll never understand why the didn't release 'The Others' as a single. That song is catchy as hell and had the same hit potential as Lanterns.

So it seems that Lanterns is getting some radio play over in America and they're going to be on Jimmy Kimmel live next week. I'd say it's not too long before they get reasonably big in the U.S.

My mom heard Lanterns on the radio and though this was a Christian band

Moments of brilliance, but overall a boring record. Felt like they were aiming at mainstream radio (with some success). Such a shame.

Their new single “Unbreakable” is out and could possibly be the worst song of their career. RIP this band
