Mother Russia's lyrics are awesome

But even if it the lyrics have nothing to do with it, I've always felt a James Bond atmosphere on its music don't know why lol

As I said, not really bout the lyrics but the music, some parts really sound like a Bond song for me, specially the chorus with its orchestral arrangements

Novella is as good as this and Ashes Are Burning, why it has so few votes and no review? Probably my next one.

No way CusmanX1.

Novella is a great album, but isn't as good as “Prologue”, “Ashes Are Burning”, “Turn Of The Cards” and specially “Scheherazade And Other Stories”.

My rating by the quality order, of these Renaissance's albums is:

Scheherazade And Other Stories

Turn Of The Cards

Ashes Are Burning

Prologue

Novella

So, as you can see, for me, Novella is in the fifth place of their best ranking.

P.S. I'm only talking about albums of the Renaissance MK. II albums.

I listened to it today and I was left really surprised. I haven't high expectations but I found it amazing, probably I have to dig it more. Ashes and Turn of The Cards are on the same level to me, and yes, Scheherazade is the number one. The one I like the less is Prologue.

Yeah, me too. However, I still think that Turn Of The Cards is slightly better than Ashes Are Burning. I really think that Turn hasn't weak points and is better balanced than Ashes.

I'm very glad you liked it, dude.

However, don't forget A Song For All Seasons which is also an excellent album.

Yes, that one too, but for some reasons, the vocal lines don't convince me everywhere. It rarely happens, but I feel that one would be better instrumental, or more instrumental at least. Maybe it's just me.
