i literally dont even know how to describe that but it lived up to the hype
there was this weird dichotomy in the crowd where physically they were the most normal looking crowd ive seen at a show but the actual people themselves were weird as fuck. some woman just came up and started rubbing/fondling my back during one of the openers and i had to ask her to back up and some kid came up to me and tried to buy salvia just expecting that i would be selling salvia for some reason. also there were like 3 or 4 people actually trying to mosh????
it was weird because speaking in terms of the sound palette it was pretty similar to like this/untilted (a lot of it sounded very untilted-ish) but the actual feel of the music was totally different. idk if its just the sound system or the sort of atmosphere they create by cutting all the lights but it didn't feel the same as really any of their recorded material to me tbh though it was honestly better than probably like 2/3 of their recorded stuff. also i realized it worked a million times better if you shut your eyes and stop moving entirely and try to cut any stimulus other than what you're hearing (that sounds pretentious as fuck lol whatever but i seriously had my eyes shut for like 90% of it)
