this is an album that requires a thorough listen through headphones to get the full effect, one of the guitarists is panned left and the other is panned right and the way they interact mindfucks your brain hard it rules

This album is growing on me, but just like their first album (and, to an extent, Terminal Spirit Disease), I wish the production was better.

I find it strange that you insta-reply to whoever posts stuff about At the Gates... And not really, you can't hear the bass at all, and you really have to turn the volume up. Maybe if this were black metal it'd work fine and no one, including me, would complain, but it's not.

"you can't hear the bass at all, and you really have to turn the volume up"

this is more of a mixing issue, the production still rules

You're right, but then again so am I. When I say "production," it's a more general term. It could refer to any number of things, mixing included. In this context, I obviously meant mixing. What are you trying to get at when you say "the production still rules?" Do you mean the way that they packaged the album, the ordering of the songs, or what?

He's trying to prove you wrong, despite mixing being part of the production process.

"What are you trying to get at when you say "the production still rules?" "

i mean the way the instruments sound on the album, the guitars especially, the sound they have rules
and the atmosphere of the album in general is awesome. i do agree about the bass being mixed too low
but that's hardly enough to keep me from enjoying this masterpiece. i really don't understand what
you're so upset about.

"Do you mean the way that they packaged the album, the ordering of the songs, or what?"

are you stupid?
