there are a lot of great things about the south though

I'm drawn to it, it holds charms for me that I want to see if they exist. I'm going to head over in a years time hopefully and drive about for a few weeks soaking it all up.

well depends on which part of texas really. I've never considered dallas, austin, or san antonio to be "the south". houston and way east texas maybe.

both. it's kinda like florida. jacksonville is southern in many ways; tampa not so much. same thing with states like kentucky and virginia.
