loved me some senses fail and finch back in the day, and honestly still love them both. i'm not entirely sure if it is nostalgia, but senses fail continue to get better as time goes on.

I am kind of just listening to random songs, some that were suggested in this thread and whatnot. It's pretty good, kind of all over the place style wise, but still good.

I listened to a lot of Thrice, Emery, Silverstein, Funeral For A Friend, Story Of The Year, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Thursday in the 2003 - 2005 area, back when there was that big post hardcore explosion. Lost interest in the last two pretty quickly and have been a little disappointed in SOTY's last two albums.

Also dug on some Dead Poetic back in the day too. They were a good band.

Yeah, still love Dead Poetic. I have an attachement to Beloved, Haste the Day, and Emery as well from that era.

I just recently got back into Emery. The Question was a favorite of mine for a long time. I was pretty bummed when I found out one of the vocalists left before the last album they did.

I didn't find out about HTD and Beloved until the last year or so. Both are good, defunct bands.

Emery rules but I don't listen to them as much as I used to either. The Question is prolly my favorite too

Yea, I took a break from them after I'm Only A Man. Turned out I was missing some quality material. I have been thinking about giving The Question a spin recently. It has been a while but I remember loving it.

Is this your first feature Atari?

It's my second (my first was for NOFX -Self-Entitled).

Although I'm more proud of this feature. Not that my NOFX review was bad but I feel like this is one of my better reviews so far and I'm usually pretty critical of my own writing.

I wasn't a fan of high school. I enjoyed college more.

I get that. I don't think my music obsession really hit its stride until after high school, so stuff I listened to in college has a more nostalgic effect for me.
