This one is that sweet spot between the more straight up thrash sound of RIP or Punishment and the elevated prog of Mental Vortex. Best of both worlds. Probably my fav Coroner too. MV is a 5 too though. This one just has more of that caveman, fast and hard vibe without really being any less sophisticated.

Voivod are weaker in the vocal department for me, though not at all bad. I think they're about neck and neck as bands. Wish there were some new bands trying to progress this style, metal needs it.

Voivod have a more punkish, slightly zany vocal. I love punk, so it isn't an issue. Coroner just have a more heavy vocal style. It's like the perfect thrash vocal to me. Not exactly a scream but never sung. Like a gritty, snarling shout.
