Great review. Amazing record!
That section right after the first chorus in Episode 666 (the break with the guitar harmonies, then the riff kicks in a chugs along with a low growl from Anders underneath) blows me away every time; a perfect few seconds of music that just gives chills!

It's less like old In Flames and more like the more mainstream metalcore/heavy metal movement that happened around that time. So it's understandable.

True, but I felt like it was their most solid "mainstream" album they did. since, while still having that mainstream metalcore sound to it, it also had some classic old school-ish sounding riffs
