Thanks meds for featuring this.

@chesse13:

Dunn doesn't disappoint on this album. I've read that they tried to hold him back during a recording session, but it's all to good effect.

@InbredJed:

Thanks. I'll check out your review too.

@Alhazred:

I can definitely hear what you mean. Many songs are incredibly catchy for sure. I especially agree with you on Stone Letter which really seems like an inferior Diggin' The Grave rehash.

Album rules, not as good as Mit Gas but still the best rock album I've heard in a long time.

I kind of like it. It reminds me of old cartoons.

Yeah, not digging this. Preferred the whole shaman thing they had going on Anonymous.

@Wolf:

Ah. I hated Anonymous tbh. This is way safer, which in this case means much better.

@silentpotato:

Mit Gas > Anonymous > this > self-titled

I think. They're all really good though

Idk man, I dig some "tribal" shit like Anonymous, Sanders, Kara Nomadica or Wardruna more than this 'alt rock' stuff. Too "safe" for me I guess.

@Polyethylene:

Mit Gas is definitely their best. I'd say Mit Gas > this > self-titled > Anonymous.

@Wolf:

I usually quickly lose interest in tribal stuff. I really like Goat's World Music though.

STAFF, lol. Dude, check out the stuff I just listed. Karl Sanders is probably one of the best. Don't know that.

@greg84 Yeah jammed Mit Gas today and it ruled as ever, probably one of Patton's best albums. I find Anonymous really hypnotic and love the atmosphere, but can totally see why somebody wouldn't like it.

@Wolfhorde:

Haha. I know... I can't believe I made this mistake.

@silentpotato:

You're right it's mainly krautrock/psychedelic, but I'm sure there are some tribal influences in it too.

Hey. This Karl Sanders guy is also a guitarist for Nile. I've heard some of their stuff. His solo work sounds cool. I'm listening to Saurian Excorcisms.

^^^^^
If you want some more tribal stuff just look up one of my folk (I refuse to use the retarded term that is "world music") lists, they should still be 'round.

I know, but people here will understand - at the latest when they hear things like Sanders.
