worship music is pretty sweet and a welcome return of belladonna (they had a different vocalist after persistence of time)

it's probably their most accessible album besides spreading the disease if you want to check it out.

I am actually listening to it right now. I like it so far. I read they have had a ton of line up changes since Persistence of Time.

I think it said Scott Ian was the only consistent member of the band throughout the years.

@ecnalzen,

glad you like spreading the disease and worship music. i'm quite confident if you like those albums then among the living and persistence of time could grow on you with time.

I only listened to STD and the singles when I was younger. Everything ruled though so I'll slowly enter into their discrography more.

do it man among the living and this one are essential too. I need to relisten to their debut and state of euphoria though.

Maybe I'll get there someday, Atari, lol.

I actually think I like Worship a little better (so far) than Spreading The Disease. It's like a modern day Anthrax. They didn't abandon their roots, but they also didn't dive so deep back into them that it's just retreading the same ground as earlier records. It's a pretty cool thing to accomplish.

I will man, no doubt. Nothing wrong with a little thrash in my life. I probably heard most of their albums when I was little since my uncles all loved thrash music.

Belladonna's vocals are fantastic on Worship. He sounds great on the other stuff I've heard, but he is just killing it on this one.

Some of the stuff with John Bush is worth checking out, specifically Sound of White Noise. You do have to think of it as an entirely different band tho. It is certainly much less of a jarring transition than the one Metallica made from And Justice... to the Black Album.
