I mean, Chinese people on average have more money in their pocket than either the UK or America? And thats proven fact, and they can buy property and businesses etc.
Dont believe the nonsense the American press puts out that Communist countries cant do anything, when America is the only country on earth to force their views down other countries throats and either invade them, or just call them a pariah state. All that is done to reinforce the narrative that America is right and great, when in reality China (to use a communist example as you mentioned them) have just as much freedom and rights, and are far better run. Xi has single handedly turned China into the global powerhouse, more so than any other country currently, and whilst his policies can be extremely intense, to simply say Communism = Poor, No living, Bad is really ignorant given even Americans who have spent 13 years in China (a documentary i saw the other week about freedom there) say its a safer and happier society than that in America
