Many of those rating 5 are trying to balance out the score while many of those rating 1s are also

trying to balance out the score. Twisted either way.

It usually takes me quite a long time to bring myself to rate an album 5/5. A classic is the type of

album that I can listen to 5 years from now and still thoroughly love it, from opening track to ending

track. I respect your judgement though.

By the way, our taste in music is similar. Check out my ratings.

Damn is Brutal Love such a great song. Tre overall is positive like Uno but a bit more clean and better

structured. Coming right from Uno and Dos, Tre does stand out.

Little Boy Named Train isn't bad either. A good non-filler track to maintain consistency.

Choosing between 3.5 and 4 was hard but seeing as I stand by my 3.5 for Uno and liking Tre more, it

just seemed more natural to bump it up. Good job Green Day! I would say that over the entire trilogy

you have put out some really golden songs.

That does contain some truth, actually. Albums I have rated 5 or 4.5 Like Black Holes and Revalations, Joshua Tree, and Close to the Edge have some sentimental feeling. I have listened to the whole Joshua Tree still to this day for almost 10 years without hating it or losing interest in it. Close to the Edge, I'm going on 3 years, and Black Holes and Revalations has still be incredibly good since I heard it a few months ago.

If you like American Idiot or Warning this would be in your ballpark.

to me this is just a much more mature version of UNO.

I can agree with that. Uno sounded like it had influence from the very mature Warning, but half the

songs here literally sound like they could have been bonus tracks on Warning. The groove of the guitar

is very Warning-like in some songs, and that brings me pleasure.
