Was Bored intended to be a bit boring though? Even at the time that's how I heard it, supposed to be a bit monotonous

i just hadn't heard someone like chino before, transitioning between near-whispers and high notes, and the screams at the end

all stuff i was just captivated by

EE that's exactly it, Chino had a very unique approach to metal vocals which made Adrenaline really stand out in '95 - before this album 'heavy music' singers were still trapped in either the 'macho' or 'scary' straight jacket for the most part

Yeah, Chino was definitely an idiosyncratic vocalist even then, though agreed with Brutal Cosby, he carved out more of a niche with their next couple of releases

Yeah Rosemary is one of, if not, my favourites on here.

I really enjoyed the trippy nature of Gauze. The atmosphere for the whole album was so important and I really feel like each track helped add on to its cohesive progression.

I still really like Gauze, just something about that song. Overall the album has worn off quite a bit though.

Yeah I listened to this a ton when it came out, but I haven't really come back to it much.

It showed signs of wear pretty quickly for me.

I definitely agree. KNY feels like a larger piece of music and in order to listen to it you have to sit down and listen to it as one complete work. Which means that, while it is as rewarding as any other Deftones album, it may require a bit more attention.

Entombed is probably the best on here and one of 'Tones best songs in general.

Leathers, Rosemary, Tempest and Gauze are all top tier too.

Poltergiest is not as good imo. It lacks something.

Other than that, I love it
