Saw this one coming, I could feel them starting to slip on Creatures. Btw, Devil's Night verse is the exact same as Psychosocial by Slipknot. Did they really think they could get away with that on their single?

meh they even managed to copy bloodhound gang in Sinematic "i am an addict for dramatic". burned at both ends is decent, rest is garbage. if your going to combine rock elements with "core" genre, base it on something good and conducive to the music. id actually like to hear some deftones ripoffs somewhere, but this is just painful...

I like the none-industrial tracks only - Black Damask, and If it's Dead. The rest are pretty bad industrial stuff....synthetic love is decent tho.

I'm not even going to give this one a shot, because I sure as hell have better music choices than some Marilyn Manson copiers.

Good review I agree on some instance, but the score seems a little too low compared with what you wrote.

Personally I think 2.0 is a little too harsh. Sure it isn't original and it's true that they almost rip-off from other bands and styles but still this record is entertaining. Like you said: "some of the songs MIW have offered on their newest album are pretty damn enjoyable, and none delve into “offensively bad” territory."

When I listened to this album it seemed they worked too much on breakdowns then trying to write actual good music. The songs lack personality and depth. Its all just a blur with nothing to really hold on to.

I feel this band should completely drop the metalcore and move forward in a different direction.

I'm thinking of an Industrial/Goth/Black Metal type approach would suffice... seeing Chris Cerulli's vocals can pull it off.

I personally liked this album and I really dig Motionless In White.

Yes they ripped off a few bands/Marilyn manson. But they still make some damn good tunes and are the only Scene band I will ever like tbh.
