also - was thinking king of limbs could be considered an 'answer' to the bends just like in rainbows is considered an 'answer' to ok computer. but i also just might have way too much time on my hands now.

Thing with my ratings though is that albums above 1 are usually not terrible, they just don't interest me. I can't give a 3 to something that I don't like, even if it isn't necessarily bad. If you see what I mean..

@anarchist - i can respect that. i think i have fleet foxes at a 2 for that reason but do think if given more time, this would be at least a 3. worse than a 2.5 seems harsh but we're all different i s'pose
@superbus - i can see how this is a 3, and i have king of limbs at a 4.5, so of course i think it's a better album. but whereas ok computer and in rainbows both told us plenty, the bends and king of limbs didn't have as much to say. and 'street spirit' and 'separator' have so many parallels, as do 'planet telex' and 'bloom' as far as i can tell.

As far as I know, Bullet Proof, Black Star, Sulk are filler. They add nothing new to this album and
become it a little exaustive. The Bends would be a 4,5 without them.
