bands in metalcore, most 'core' bands aren't that well received and most have a love/hate bandwagon fanbase thing going on.

Oh, right. I've noticed that. I don't listen to a lot of it, but I find a few bands here and there that I like. Regardless of how bad a genre can be received, there is usually some good stuff to be found.
