This album feels too hippie at times, still cool.

@friday: exposure has so freaking ly good parts. If a little more effort were put into making songs out of it, it would be up there with the crimso classics. Still awesome as it is.

I know this is a successor to ITCOTCK but God dammit it still rocks. Especially Pictures of A City. The Giles brothers were such a beastly rhythm section

Bump. Although this just makes me want to hear In the Court as parts of it are a little too similar to that album for comfort, I still enjoy it for what it is. Not essential, but enjoyable nonetheless. Less unnecessary fat than Lizard.

Time to jam this, even if it is through an endless and disjointed stream of scattered vids around the deep web.

Amazing and underrated. Unfortunately is usually seen as a clone of their debut.

Totally agree. I've always said it'd be a different story if this had been released first and ITCOTCK had been released second. Would we all be hailing this as a progressive, watershed masterpiece and ITC a retread of warmed-up leftovers?

Who knows.

but this album rules either way.

Yeah, it’s a really solid one. Perhaps not in my top 5 Crimson albums, but it’s close. I really love the most off-the-wall tracks here, like Cat Food and Devil’s Triangle

I just think it's nice to have more stuff in that style. Sometimes the possibilities of one style are just not done justice with one album and another one makes sense. It good they didn't get complacent though
