Slave is one of their best songs. Listening to this album straight through is a blissful beautiful dark experience. Definitely weezer's darkest and heaviest album. Good to see some others recognize.

Blue had more of a surf rock feel, light and fluffy. Acoustic and harmonica based ballads that I would bring back to the weezer "formula", along with matt sharp. Pinkerton is a darker shade of blue, more gritty and deep, but in the same vein for sure. Then maladroit is another wonderful side of weezer. Different instrumentation, and it goes back to bands metal roots. You should criticize green for every song sounding the same. Its like a weezer hits. Almost like they were too self conscious in their writing.

to each his own, but red is criminally underrated imo.
Greatest Man, Heart Songs, Angel, Miss Swweney, and Pig all rule hrd.
I just realized how much this rules a few days ago. The first half is pretty much perfect

this is so dull, does rivers know any guitar parts that aren't a standard 8th note chug?
