Most bands do have a "spokesperson" type that does a lot of talking to the media. However, I think your wrong in the assumption that Pete Wentz "hogs Fall Out Boy's spotlight"; the others participate in interviews and stuff quite a bit.

im not talking about interviews. like the stuff they do as sideprojects and stuff... but anyway.

I still don't like him.

Mehh Pete Wentz isn't my favorite member, but he is a bit of a spotlight hog. Hence his naked pictures.

I think Patrick is the truly talented one in the band.

I think he was talking about Decaydence, yeah.

I saw Patrick in a video for a band, or a rapper, but I can't remember what it was.

He did a song with Gym Class Heros I think. They're basically a rap band.
but he's like the spokesperson for everything FOB does... he gives me a prep vibe.
You're funny. Someone in a band is usually the step out in the spotlight person and sometimes they hog the spotlight a lot. But that isn't the case. The other members as Nick said participate a lot too.

No one here considers Musicofficial a person though, so it doesn't matter.

I feel I have endured a little bit of a falling out with the sputnik crowd. My ignorance has finally brought me down. :-(.
