Yeah I’m not into this. Seems like there’s thrash that hits certain niches for me and this doesn’t satisfy any of them. Ah well. My initial foray was probably accurate.

I genuinely am not a huge fan of Anthrax overall, but this album is one of their stronger records. That being said im in the Bush > Belladonna camp

This is an issue I have with a lot of thrash metal, but I find Anthrax to be especially grating because of Belladonna's cheesy, off-key shouted vocals and the cringe hip-hop bollocks. The riffs are also insanely generic to me. It's like they're a parody thrash band that takes all the genre tropes to a comedic level.

Yeah Mustaine is a great vocalist. I dont get why Belladonna gets so much love, Bush was a FAR better singer. Seriously if you havent heard it Demon, listen to the rerecording of I Am The Law with him. It sounds a million times better although his vocal production feels a bit disconnected with the rest of the band

Nah I genuinely do enjoy this album, but not Anthrax overall. That being said, the comeback stuff was good fun, Worship Music especially.
