Aha. Very overlooked, but even Carl's main band could use more attention here.

Elizium is one of the greatest albums ever recorded and it's criminal that it's not widely recognized as such

Nothing prepared me for this. Never knew Carl McCoy would birth such an epic brooding beast like this. He literally dragged something from the unfathomable depths of the universe. I’d never heard anything that just literally ripped you apart. Elizium was a journey to enlightenment, Zoon was the descent into your darkest fears.

Never forget buying the album, a black box with the enigmatic figure and then that hell raiser type tortured head on the inside sleeve - you just knew this was going to be dark. The Ultimate musical realisation of all McCoys mysticism, shamanic journeys and ancient biblical references.

It certainly does yet we are only on page 2. Tragic really that there are not more people chatting about this masterpiece.

Loved this one for years!
The bridge on Penetration has some of my favorite Carl singing ever!

Can't really think of another album that sounds like this
It's like a more malicious FotN mixed with thrash-tinged industrial metal
