I never said I wanted them to keep the same sound but I dislike how they separated the pop punk from the metalcore, as I think it resulted in 10 mediocre songs instead of what could be 5 great songs. They could have improved as musicians, not settled for a generic sound

This is that band where one album is enough to enjoy them. Their first album is that album for me.

Well, I guess we are just going to have to settle on disagreeing with each other. I thought I read they are working on something new. We will just see what happens on the next album.

Decided to drop this down after looking through my album ratings list. I saw what else I gave a 3.5 to and I didn't think this quite measured up. A 3 seems more fitting.

If I Leave and All I Want are the only songs I replay from this. Sometimes Better off this Way but fuck those "woah a ohs" in the chorus

I am just not as big of a fan of pop-punk as you guys are, which is why I enjoy the metalcore aspect of ADTR more. I like stuff with screaming vocals (depending on the band) and that's why I initially started listening to them. One of the reasons I think I enjoyed this CD more than the other two I've heard is because it has more of a rock feel to it. I think I see why you guys don't like it as much now.
