theyre both great but i prefer the raw metal-influenced garage rock sound on blue
just has their best individual songs too imo, only in dreams, say it aint so, jonas etc
understandably split opinions on which is better tho

This is great but Third Eye Blind's self titled is still my favorite of the 90's

The love for this album is really related to the time it came out and/or the way I "lived it"...It would be pretty hard for me to five it if I listened to this today as a new band - actually, only yesterday I started to listen to the rest of their discog, though I already knew some songs here and there, but that blue album hit me hard at the time and still does whenever I put it on.
"raw metal-influenced garage rock sound on blue" its precisely this feel that sums it up X)

I dont understand how Pinkerton trumps this, the songwriting here is both simple and near-perfect

Where the Beach Boys failed in the 90s, Weezer succeeded. One of the best pop albums I've ever heard.
