This is a great album nevertheless. Better then the last, and almost as good as the Great Cold...lacks a bit of catch imo.

Agree so much. And the prespective of this being their main goal since DO, it's really intresting.

I really really beg to differ on that.
Listened to the new album 2-3 times, hard to finalize my opinion about it, but for the time being, Dead End Kings feels weak compared to Night is the New Day.
Maybe the new album is a grower, idk.

The Great Cold Distance or Viva Emptiness are probably the best albums to start off in my opinion. Dead End Kings is just a culmination of the work started on The Great Cold Distance.
