I've got a lot of favourite YC songs but l really think Sleep In The Snow is no.1. That song is just flat out fantastic.

Hell yeah. Lyrics on it are ace, progression is fluid, falsetto outro is on point. Near perfect track.

Yeah - ''I've always run right through the moments that count, but somehow with you l slow down'' is one of their best lines. Transition into A Vicious Kind is great too. Also really enjoy the hell out of Rivertown Blues.

That's the line that always got me too. Became sort of a core memory listening to that song driving up to see my gf at the time (now wife).
Telescope also has some stunners.
When the fireflies
Lit up our skies
Those were the nights when the world made us smile

Paper Walls came out on my birthday (which is also why I chose to publish the Childhood Eyes review 4 days early on the 17th, with the label's blessing of course) and I'll always remember PW feeling special for that reason. It's also grown on me in recent years. Probably my 3rd favorite YC album but it's close.

It has a certain charm of maturity about it. At least at the time. Like “oh shit I’m growing up and things are changing.”

ye paper walls was actually the first YC album I brought with my own money. Ocean Ave was a gift from my parents cause i was too young to be working at the time it came out. Date Line was my jam off Paper Walls for so long.

| |
Hell yeah dude what a memory. Shadows and Regrets and Dear Bobbie were the jams for young romantic me.

The Takedown, Light Up The Sky, and t/t are my go-to jams from PW.

Not sure if you're talking about PW or SA, but if SA, then 100% agreed.

The Takedown and the Paper Walls title cut are easy 5/5 tracks, top 10 if not top 5 yellowcard
I'll always plug You & Me & One Spotlight too, I think that's super underrated

Indeed it does
Spun this a bunch more because of the new EP and it just confirmed that this is in a league of its own compared to the rest of YC's discography
